Firstly, there’s less than 48 hours to go if you want to enter the draw for the signed Force India shirt. Full details can be found on the previous blog post but it’s pretty simple; donate by midday BST on Wednesday and you’re in with a chance of winning it. Unfortunately for me there hasn’t been a huge amount of donations yet, but that’s good news if you want it as your chances are increased.

I’ve also just received a lovely Caterham team shirt, signed by 2013 drivers Charles Pic and Giedo van der Garde. Further prizes have been promised from Lotus, Williams and Marussia, so there will be plenty of items to be won in the build-up to the ride.

In terms of training I managed to tick off a 20 mile ride in the snow around Richmond Park last week, and hopefully as the weather picks up around here I’ll keep using the bike consistently. Tonight I’m tackling the route I binned it on for the first time since the crash, wish me luck…
